Services

Page Image Mould sampling

This service includes:
Air or surface sample in client specified areas
Humidity and condensation readings
Particle counts
Pressure check
Ventilation or co2 readings
Lab results and interpretation included
Purpose:

Will help determine the presence of mold in the air or a given surface.

Lab results include:

Mould count and identification
Pollen count
Airborne debris count
Fibrous particulate count
Insect fragments count
Skin fragments
Note:

Sampling only will not determine the source or cause of the contamination and without a complete inspection it will be very difficult to determine a correction or remediation strategy.

We offer the following services:This service includes:
Visual inspection (interior and exterior)
Moisture detection (Infrared and Radio Frequency)
HVAC test and inspection includes:
- Visual inspection of duct-work, coils, and interior AC components
-HVAC Testing includes: Condensation readings, temperature differentials, relative humidity levels.

Air or surface sampling- Lab results include:
- Mould count and identification by genus
- Pollen count
- Airborne debris count
- Fibrous particulate count

Particle counts
Pressure check
Humidity and condensation readings
Recommendations for correction or prevention
Lab results interpretation

Bacterial sampling:
Purpose

To detect and identify the presence of bacteria in water, air or a given surface, mostly applicable after sewage backups, floods, or when standing water or foul odors are present.

Available Sampling:

Viable Bacteria Enumeration and Gram Stain Identification
Viable Bacteria Enumeration and Identification (Three Most Prominent Types)
Bacterial Speciation
Sewage Contamination in Buildings (Total Coliform, Fecal Coliform, E.coli, and Fecal Streptococcus)
Legionella

Remediation
Mould contamination, a common occurrance in water damaged buildings, has been known to have serious health effects. For this reason, immediate removal is necessary of all wet items from the water damaged site and to begin air circulation to prevent dampness before bacteria can multiply. If this is not possible, analytical consultation will be taken to determine the proper remediation method, which will be based on fungus type and location, as well as extent of damage and exposure.

Removal of contaminated building material and furnishings are the first stages in microbial abatement. Following are a few of the procedures used under remediation protocols and/or are limited to: performance on an individual case by case scope.
Contain the area.
Create negative pressure using AFDs
Have an environmental consultant sample, evaluate and advise
HEPA vacuum all areas
Isolate, remove and property dispose of contaminated materials.
HEPA vacuum exposed pockets.

Water Testing:
Purpose

To detect microbial or chemical contamination in water,
including drinking water, well water or swimming pool water

Available Sampling:

E. Coli
Total Coliforms
Fecal Coliforms
Legionella
Staphylococcus and streptococcus (pools- spas)
